Santa Learns Te Reo Maori

Children writing wishlist's to Santa through the New Zealand Post can get a response in Te Reo Maori.
From now until Christmas tens of thousands children will write to Santa through New Zealand responses will either be in English or Te Reo Maori.The NZ Post said the tradition had been running for 20 years and dozens of children had already been hand writing letters since August.The NZ Post said the tradition had been running for 20 years and dozens of children had already been hand writing letters since August.Santa’s little helpers working at NZ Post are aiming for a record 100,000 letters this year.Last year 92,395 letters were sent to Santa – which has increased year on year.Message can be sent online using NZ post interactive website.Santa will be offering New Zealand children a treat this year.

Tech (Wood work)

On Wednesday 30 my class and i went to tech at Tamaki College.When we got into the class we had to get our wood work and paper and we had to fill out the paper when we finished filling out our paper we had to do our joints and chisel out the rest of the wood work then we had to draw the shape of what the sides of the wood is going to look like when we were done that we had to give it to Mr Grande so he can cut it.As soon as Mr Grande gave my wood work to me I had to sane paper it then I had to put a skinny wood into the joints because the joints were to wide then I had to glue it.When I finished my wood work I help Joanlisi with hers because she needed help Then she had to do the same thing as me because we were doing the same thing.

Fire Breaks Out In Sky City

On Tuesday the 22 there was a fire break out in Sky City and st john said that there was one person that had to get rushed to Sky City hospital


The fire fighters said that the fire stared in the roof cavity and it has been hard for them to get up the top of it.



That afternoon it stared at 1mp .It stared on the seventh floor spreading to the sixth.
The person that did it was someone from st john and he was the one that had to go to Sky City hospital.

Wood Tech Term 4

On Wednesday we went back to tech for term 4

The first thing we did when we first got to tech is we had to draw 8 thing we can make that has joints .

The second thing we did was we got a peace of paper and it had many questions on in.
